Welcome to Coach's Corner
Hi, my name is Scott Wooden, and I am excited to be teaching your children in Health and Physical Education this year.
My goal is to teach your children to live healthy and active lives.
Here's a little background information about me. I received my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from LSU in Baton Rouge and went on to receive my teaching certification from Southeastern. More recently I completed my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from ULM.
I have been working in Caddo Schools for 11 years and love being an A.C. Steere Gator.
Outside of school, I spend most of my time with my wife and three kids.
We enjoy participating in outdoor activities, being involved in a variety of sports, and traveling.

Students and Parents,
My name is Carrick MacDonald, and I am completing my teaching internship under Coach Wooden here at AC Steere. As a former Shreveport resident (graduate of Loyola College Prep in 2013), I am excited to be back. I am graduating from Mississippi State University in December with a BS in Kinesiology plus teaching endorsements in Physical Education, Health, and Social Studies. While interning at the elementary school, I am also a football coach at Byrd High School. I hope to find a job that allows me the opportunity to teach and coach football after I graduate. I am truly excited to be at a great school with excellent support from teachers and administration. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach your child. Thank you. Go Gators!
Sincerely,
Carrick MacDonald
